So they opened the bags, and they yelled,
"Look out!"
As with candy and toys they began to clout,
And as nuts, and goodies, and pop-corn flew,
The air grew so thick that it hid that crew.
But while they were hid they sang so loud,
And they cussed as they sang, and each villain vowed
That they'd bury Old Santa, and Pa Pirate too,
And the children, and ship they would sink from view.
But soon they heard a merry shout,
And as soon they realized what ‘twas about;
They had emptied their bags, and there below,
Their eyes beheld quite a Christmas show.
For the Pirate Kids, Willie, Tilly, and Ted,
And the little poor Children were being led
By dear Old Santa, and were taking their pick
Of the Goodies and Toys that belonged to St. Nick.
Then the Pirate Crew slid down the ropes–
They wanted to see; they had lost all hopes
Of capturing the ship, and the children too;
So surrender they did, the whole bad crew.
Then Pa Pirate and Santa threw in the hold,
That whole black murderous crew so bold,
As the merry children helped set the sail,
And the happy waves danced white in the gale.
So the good Jolly Jane rode the Homeward Sea,
As the little girls cuddled their dollies in glee;
And the little boys laughed at each new found toy,
For ne'er was a ship so chuck full of Joy.
