Bohdan Blood was a busy young man. Being the President of the AH&L Committee in the middle of World War Three did that, but now rumors of witchcraft and Cartel incursions around his Ozark home were making things downright unhealthy. Together with his wily friends Bohdan and company will dodge drafts, hunt cryptids, and burn witches in style to keep their neck of the woods from looking like a New York hellscape. Just another day for the Adventure, Hunting, and Liquidation Committee.

A Challenge From Heaven panel 1

Semester 2: Lesson 1: A Challenge From Heaven

The Saviour’s arrival is at hand. The one who will crush the snake’s head, that old dragon Lucifer himself, the day of the Lord is coming for the rebellious watchers and their twisted children running uninhibited through creation. Now is the time to prepare the way.

The Almighty God of Heaven’s Armies has been planning his revenge upon his wayward sons for centuries. Weaving the events of the world in preparation for the prophecy he gave mankind going all the way to the Fall in the Garden.

The LORD God said to the serpent,

“Because you have done this,

cursed are you above all livestock

and above all beasts of the field;

on your belly you shall go,

and dust you shall eat

all the days of your life.

I will put enmity between you and the woman,

and between your offspring[fn] and her offspring;

he shall bruise your head,

and you shall bruise his heel.”

Genesis 3:14-15

First was Abraham set apart to create a nation, and a people who would be God’s chosen amongst the disowned nations. A Noah’s Ark, a wicker basket like for Moses, the people of Israel were meant to be the vessel from which the fated savior of the world would be born. A son of David. Then was Moses and the rest of the patriarchs being led by the Holy Spirit into the fated Holy Land where The Almighty would set the stage for the salvation of the Earth and the destruction of all his enemies squatting in his creation.

But his plans would not go uncontested, and soon Israel had become wayward and evil forcing God’s machinations further and further afield. He needed Israel for his grand scheme, but their love for the twisted made them as bad or worse than those meant for the fires of punishment. Still, The Almighty was not idle, and through his will and ability to outplay the Devil and his minions had come to this point in history. Wayward Israel was still rebellious but the remnant had returned and rebuilt the Temple allowing for more prophecies to be fulfilled, and were at least not worshiping Baal or any demonic prince openly.

Rome now ruled the known western world, and through their conquering and industrious nature had connected the ancient nations. God would soon use this to his advantage spreading the Gospel at a breathtaking pace through the world with hints of the good word reaching even ancient China on the far side of the world. His enemies were poised for their defeat, his children were in the place, and the surrounding world was prepared to spread the word. It was now time to reclaim not just wayward Israel, but all of the nations disowned at the Tower of Babel and given over to rebellious sons of God.

Still, more prophecies must be fulfilled to confirm to man the identity of Jesus Christ as many lying spirits would be sent into the world to deceive those not firmly planted on the rock of salvation. A delicate process as that old red dragon and his freaks have shown amble ability to frustrate God’s plans in the past through his prophecies as we’ve mentioned in Genesis and all the times Israel fell from grace. Rebellious Israel would need to be given the gift first as well since they had been set apart as Jesus Christ said himself.

And behold, a Canaanite woman from that region came out and was crying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely oppressed by a demon.”

But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away, for she is crying out after us.”

He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

But she came and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, help me.”

And he answered, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”

She said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.”

Then Jesus answered her, “O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly.

Mathew 15:22-28

So Israel's hearts needed to be prepared to receive their saviour, and the rocking of the foundations of the world. To that end the Almighty had a specific plan. The return of the Spirit of Elijah in this case coming upon a man who the Angel would demand be named John. Better known as John the Baptist.

But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.

And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth,

for he will be great before the Lord. And he must not drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.

And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God,

and he will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared.”

Luke 1:13-17

Whether this was Elijah himself being reborn, him coming back in spirit form to empower John, or the Spirit that empowered Elijah coming upon John is besides the point. God is sending his best to confirm his chosen Son before all of Humanity, and his enemies.

Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John, to be baptized by him.

John would have prevented him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”

But Jesus answered him, “Let it be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he consented.

And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him;

and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

Mathew 3:13-17

This is an important moment. A declaration of war on the Devil’s Kingdom. A shock to the system as the threat the freaks thought dead after the massacre of the children in Bethlehem reveals himself fully grown and protected by God’s armies. The Son of God made flesh. Now they all knew he was here, and were terrified.

The reaction of Devil’s cronies is almost comical as we will see in future lessons. Riving and panicking like prom queens in full drama mode whose hair had just been lit on fire. A similar trend will rake the unclean spirits who encounter him. Is now the time of our demise and judgment?!

And when he came to the other side, to the country of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men met him, coming out of the tombs, so fierce that no one could pass that way.

And behold, they cried out, “What have you to do with us, O Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”

Now a herd of many pigs was feeding at some distance from them.

And the demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, send us away into the herd of pigs.”

And he said to them, “Go.” So they came out and went into the pigs, and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the waters.

Mathew 8:28-32

And though it wasn’t time of judgement God intended his enemies to be petrified of what torment he had planned for them now that the Son of God was made flesh. The Almighty was laying a trap, and every crum leading the Devil into the snare had been planned out for thousands of years. One misstep, one hint, and the plan fails and God’s Will will be delayed for centuries again. The stakes are high, and everyone knows it. Yet, nobody, but God himself knows what game is being played.

So now Jesus Christ starts his ministry with the old dragon and his fellow freaks hovering on the wings wondering just what their enemy has in mind for their destruction. None of them have any clue, and that was God’s purpose from the beginning.

Buckle up boys for the next few lessons because The Almighty God of Heaven’s Armies is about to use his son to shake foundations of the spirit world, and send them running with their tails tucked between their legs. But first the people of Israel need to be given an opportunity to repent and follow their Father in Heaven with all their hearts and give up the lies of the Devil’s children in their midst. The brood of vipers known as the Pharisees and other compromised spiritual leaders of the Hebrews.

But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this man casts out demons.”

Knowing their thoughts, he said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand.

And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?

And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges.

But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Or how can someone enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house.

Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.

Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

A Tree Is Known by Its Fruit

“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad, for the tree is known by its fruit.

You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Mathew 12:24-34

The gauntlet has been thrown down, and now we watch the sparks fly as Christ begins his ministry and fulfills his part of the great cosmic trap. The bait. Don’t worry. He gets his revenge in revelations, but for now he is the bait for the most cosmic double envelopment ever conceived and the Devil doesn’t have a clue. Get ready boys, things are about to get wild cause the ancient enemy isn’t going to go down without a fight. See you in the next lesson.
